• Candidates must possess a two-year diploma from an Atlantic Canada public institution of higher learning.
• It is essential to have at least Level 4 of the Canadian Language Benchmark in English or the Canadian Language Competency Level in French. 

P.E.I. Labour Impact Category

There are also three streams under this program and they’re discussed below. 

Skilled Worker Stream

• Candidates must hold a full-time, long-term (permanent or a minimum of two years) job offer from a PEI employer in their NOC skill level O, A, or B.

• You should possess a current work permit if you are employed by a PEI company.

• Have the right to live there legally.

• Be able to travel to the Office of Immigration, Settlement, and Population for an interview if necessary.

• Must possess a diploma or proof of successful completion of at least two years of post-secondary study.

• Have completed five years of appropriate education or full-time employment

• Possess the necessary language skills
